The finalists of the media innovation competition Uutisraivaaja has been selected. Five projects move forward as finalists, chosen by the jury of Uutisraivaaja in Helsinki on March 8th.
The teams will get 10 000 euros of seed money and experienced media and business mentors to guide their projects. The finalists have six months to develop their ideas further by, for example, building a prototype, researching their area of business or finding user base for their service.
The teams were chosen among dozens of applications. The level of the competition was very high and many potential teams had to be left out of the finals. This is the fourth round of Uutisraivaaja media innovation challenge.
The finalists report on the progress they make on the Uutisraivaaja blog.
