Piiri is a literary-themed cultural media. Piiri includes two products: a journalistic newsletter and a monthly reading event.
The Ulkopolitist, 50 000 euros
The Ulkopolitist produces short format videos that offer in-depth explanations on topics related to foreign and international politics.
Kolikon kääntöpuoli, 50 000 euros
Kolikon kääntöpuoli creates news for those who are not reached by traditional media. especially young people with immigrant backgrounds or without formal education.
Uutiskamut, 50 000 euros
An AI-based news service that adapts news written by journalists into child-friendly, video-format news.
The funded projects have to be finalized and published by the end of May, 2026.
The Uutisraivaaja Innovation Challenge was organized for the eighth time. Altogether the contest attracted 23 applications.
